Motivation:Jacques has been involved in ice swimming since 2016.
He was co-organizer with IISA Spain of the first editions Ice Swimming Festival Puigcerda in 2016 and 2017 (France and Spain)
In 2017, he participated in the IISA world championship in Burghausen and swum the 1000m.
Since 2018, he has been in charge of the development of Ice Swimming within the French Swimming Federation (the only institution recognized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the practice of the discipline)
In 2019, he was in charge of organizing the first French Ice Swimming Championship in Vichy.
He is the referent for all Ice swimming organizations in France (the French Championships, World Championship in Samoens 2023 and perhaps 2027, …)
He is the Team manager and coach for the IISA French Team for international events (Samoens 2023, Oradea 2024 and Molveno 2025). Selector of the 4x250m relay (3rd at Samoens 2023 and 2nd at Oradea 2024) and also several swimmers whom he motivated and supported to do Ice Swimming and who obtained world titles and records (Ludivine Blanc, Louise Bernard and Zoe Ducret, …)
